If you are looking for a friendly personal tour that is down to earth and shows the real Outer Queen Charlotte Sound and its beautiful environment, on land or underwater, then we would love to share our beautiful, remote and secret world with you.

Born and bred in the Marlborough region and based on the Cape Jackson peninsula for the last 20 years, we have lived our whole lives in and around the Marlborough Sounds.

Lucky to be able to realise our passion of nature, the outdoors and the sea, we are dedicated to making each tour unforgettable, unique and personal to you.

Craig is a qualified skipper and has put this to good use in the tourism industry. Within this industry he also have extensive experience in guiding and continuing education specialising in native fauna and flora. He has had experience in wildlife husbandry and rehabilitation, and are a trustee of a wildlife recovery trust.

Trudy is a qualified vet nurse and has experience in caring for and managing wild animals as well as an extensive knowledge in the identification and propogation of native flora.

Uncharted Wilderness Tours is a long held business dream for us (Craig and Trudy) and we look forward to showing you our backyard.
